This is a Rider-Waite style deck that uses herbal correspondences for each card such as except it pictures a different herb that corresponds with each card such as saffron for the 3 of Wands or Ginseng for the Fool.
This has been my main deck for over 20 years and I consider it a fairly gentle deck.
It comes with a little white book but the more comprehensive guidebook is sold separately.
